Start at the Barnstable Village area. Head towards Main Street and follow it until you reach the intersection with Route 6A. Turn left onto Route 6A and continue for approximately 3 miles. Look for signs directing you to Sandy Neck Beach. You will need to follow the road until you see a parking area for Sandy Neck Beach, where you can secure your bicycle before heading onto the trails.

If you are in Barnstable Village, walk towards Main Street and head west. Continue straight onto Route 6A, which will take you towards West Barnstable. The walk is around 3 miles, and you will enjoy views of local shops and the scenic area. Once you reach the parking area for Sandy Neck Beach, look for the marked walking trails that lead to the camp sites.
Public Transit
From Barnstable Village, take the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority bus towards Hyannis. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Route 6A and Sandy Neck Road. From there, it is about a 1-mile walk to the Sandy Neck Camp Sites. Follow Sandy Neck Road straight until you reach the entrance of the park.
