    If you are driving from North Adams, take MA-8 South for about 10 miles. Continue on MA-8 South until you reach the intersection with Cheshire Road (MA-116) in Cheshire. Turn left onto Cheshire Road, and after about 0.5 miles, you will see the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail entrance on your right. There is parking available at the trailhead.

    If you are coming from Pittsfield, take US-20 East to the junction with MA-8 North. Follow MA-8 North for approximately 10 miles. When you arrive in Cheshire, turn right onto Cheshire Road (MA-116). The entrance to the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail will be about 0.5 miles ahead on your right, where you can find parking.
