From anywhere in the Berkshires, head towards Pittsfield, MA. If you are coming from Lenox, take MA-7 N for about 10 miles until you reach the intersection with US-20 E. Merge onto US-20 E and follow it for about 3 miles. Then, take a right onto West Street (MA-41). Continue on West Street for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the entrance of Kirvin Park on your left. There is no parking fee at the park.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, check the local bus schedules for the Berkshire Regional Transit Authority (BRTA). You can take the BRTA Route 1 or Route 2 from various points in the Berkshires towards Pittsfield. Get off at the West Street stop. From there, it's a short 0.5-mile walk to Kirvin Park. Head East on West Street, and you will see the park entrance on your right. Note that BRTA fares may vary, so check the latest prices before your trip.
Biking
For those who prefer biking, Kirvin Park can be accessed by cycling along the scenic roads from nearby towns. If you are coming from downtown Pittsfield, take North Street heading west, then turn onto West Street. Follow West Street directly to the park entrance. The total distance from downtown Pittsfield to Kirvin Park is about 1.5 miles. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow local bicycling laws.
