Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from the center of Berkshires, head towards Route 8 N. Follow this route and merge onto MA-2 E. Continue on MA-2 E for about 15 miles. Take the exit towards Adams/Route 8. After exiting, continue on East Road for approximately 2 miles. You will find the Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum at 67 East Road, Adams, MA 01220. There is free parking available on-site.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take the Peter Pan Bus from various locations in Berkshires to Adams, MA. The bus departs from Pittsfield and other nearby towns. Once you arrive at the Adams Bus Station, you can take a local taxi or rideshare service to the museum. The distance from the bus station to the museum is about 1.5 miles, which may take around 5-10 minutes by car.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, there are bike paths connecting various towns in the Berkshires. From downtown Adams, you can bike to the museum located at 67 East Road. It’s approximately a 15-minute ride, following East Road directly to the museum. Make sure to wear a helmet and be aware of traffic, as some sections may have vehicle traffic.

  If you are already in Adams and prefer to walk, the Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum is about a 30-minute walk from the town center. Head east on Park Street and continue onto East Road. The museum will be on your left at 67 East Road. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and check the weather before heading out.
