Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from North Adams, take MA-8 South for approximately 12 miles. Then, turn right onto Rockwell Rd (MA-7). Follow this road for about 1 mile, and you will arrive at the entrance of Mount Greylock State Reservation located at 30 Rockwell Rd, Lanesborough, MA 01237. There is a parking fee of $5 per vehicle.

  • Car

    Coming from Pittsfield, take US-20 E for about 6 miles. Then, turn left onto MA-7 North and continue for about 4 miles. Turn left onto Rockwell Rd. The entrance to Mount Greylock State Reservation is about a mile down this road. Please note, there is a parking fee of $5 per vehicle.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are relying on public transportation, take the Peter Pan Bus Lines from major cities like Boston or New York City to Pittsfield. From Pittsfield, use the Berkshire Regional Transit Authority (BRTA) bus service to reach Lanesborough. The closest stop is near the intersection of MA-7 and Rockwell Rd. From there, you will need to walk about 1 mile to the entrance of Mount Greylock State Reservation. Be prepared for a walk as public transit options may not bring you directly to the entrance.
