If you prefer to take the subway, head to the Copley station on the Green Line (C or D branch). Take the train inbound towards Government Center. Get off at the next stop, which is the Arlington station. Exit the station and walk east on Boylston Street for one block, then turn right onto Beacon Street. The Gibson House Museum will be on your left at 137 Beacon Street. The subway fare is $2.40 for a single ride.
