Ferry
To reach Fort Warren on Georges Island, start at the Long Wharf in Boston. You can get there by taking the MBTA subway to the Aquarium Station on the Blue Line. Once you exit the station, walk towards the waterfront, and you will see the Long Wharf ferry terminal. Purchase a ferry ticket for the Boston Harbor Islands ferry service to Georges Island. Ferries typically run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, so be sure to check the schedule in advance. Once on board, enjoy the scenic ride across the harbor, which takes about 30 minutes.
