If you are traveling by car, start from anywhere in Bristol County and make your way to Interstate 195. Take exit 10 for MA-88 toward Westport. Merge onto MA-88 N and continue for about 3 miles. Then turn left onto Indian Town Road. Copicut Woods will be on your left. There is no entrance fee, and parking is available along the road.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus to New Bedford from your location in Bristol County. From the New Bedford bus terminal, transfer to the bus heading towards Westport. Once in Westport, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to reach Copicut Woods. Head east on MA-177, then turn left onto Indian Town Road. Copicut Woods will be on your left. Be sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time as service may be limited.
