Bus
From downtown Brockton, walk to the Brockton Bus Terminal located at 1-15 Main Street. Take the MBTA bus route 14 towards 'Taunton'. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes and get off at the 'Brockton Hospital' stop. From there, transfer to the RIPTA bus route 1 towards 'Providence'. After approximately 45 minutes, get off at the 'Kennedy Plaza' stop in Providence. From Kennedy Plaza, you can either walk or take a short bus ride on the RIPTA route 42 towards 'Brown University'. The university is located at 345 South Main Street, just a short walk from the bus stop.

Head to the Brockton MBTA station located at 10 Thorndike Street. Take the commuter rail on the Middleborough/Lakeville Line towards 'Braintree'. After about 25 minutes, transfer at Braintree station to the Red Line towards 'Alewife'. Travel for approximately 35 minutes until you reach 'Park Street' station in Boston. At Park Street, transfer to the Green Line 'D' branch towards 'Riverside' and get off at the 'Government Center' stop. From there, transfer to the Orange Line towards 'North Station' and get off at 'Haymarket' station. Walk to the Haymarket bus station and take RIPTA bus route 1 to Providence. Once in Providence, you can walk to Brown University located at 345 South Main Street.

If you are near the Brockton Public Library on Main Street, start walking towards the Brockton Bus Terminal which is about a 10-minute walk. Once there, take the MBTA bus route 14 towards 'Taunton'. After about 30 minutes, get off at the 'Brockton Hospital' stop. Here, switch to the RIPTA bus route 1 towards 'Providence'. This leg of the journey will take roughly 45 minutes and will drop you off at 'Kennedy Plaza' in downtown Providence. From Kennedy Plaza, take the RIPTA route 42 towards 'Brown University' and get off at the stop right outside the university gates.
