Bus
From the Brockton area, walk to the Brockton MBTA Bus Terminal located at 1-3 Main Street. Take the 14 bus towards 'Brockton to Ashmont Station'. Get off at the Ashmont Station stop. From there, transfer to the Red Line subway towards Alewife. Ride the subway until you reach Alewife Station. At Alewife, transfer to the 67 bus towards 'Alewife to Fresh Pond'. Get off at the 'Massachusetts Ave @ Waterhouse St' stop, which is a short walk to Cambridge Common.
Train
From Brockton, head to the Brockton MBTA Commuter Rail Station. Take the train on the Kingstown Line towards Boston's South Station. At South Station, transfer to the Red Line subway, heading towards Alewife. Ride the subway until you reach Alewife Station. From Alewife, take the 67 bus towards 'Alewife to Fresh Pond' and get off at the 'Massachusetts Ave @ Waterhouse St' stop, which is adjacent to Cambridge Common.

If you prefer walking, head to the nearest bus stop on Main Street and take the 14 bus towards 'Brockton to Ashmont Station'.
