Public Transit
To reach Cambridge Common from Quincy, start by walking to the nearest bus stop. Board the MBTA Bus #210 or #220 towards the Ashmont station. Once you arrive at Ashmont, transfer to the Red Line subway towards Alewife. Get off at the Alewife station and transfer to the Alewife Shuttle (Bus #67) that goes towards Alewife Station. Disembark at the Alewife stop, and walk east along Massachusetts Ave. Continue walking until you reach Waterhouse St, where Cambridge Common is located at the intersection.
Walking
If you're near the Quincy Center, head towards the Quincy Center T station. From there, take the Red Line towards Ashmont. Once you reach the Alewife station, exit the subway and head towards the Alewife Shuttle stop to catch Bus #67 towards Alewife Station. After getting off, walk east on Massachusetts Ave until you reach Waterhouse St. Cambridge Common is at the intersection of Waterhouse St and Massachusetts Ave.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, rent a bike and start from Quincy Center. Ride towards the Neponset River Greenway, following the path north until you reach the JFK/UMass station. From there, take the Red Line towards Alewife. When you get off at Alewife, exit towards the Alewife Shuttle Bus #67. After the bus ride, cycle east on Massachusetts Ave until you arrive at Waterhouse St, where Cambridge Common is located.
