Bus
From downtown Brockton, walk to the Brockton MBTA bus terminal located at 1-5 Main Street. Take the MBTA Route 14 bus towards 'Brockton - East Bridgewater'. Get off at the stop at 'Brockton - East Bridgewater' and transfer to the MBTA Route 240 bus towards 'Quincy - Braintree'. Ride this bus until you reach the 'Quincy Center' station. From there, head to the nearby 'Quincy Bay' ferry terminal and take the ferry to Gallops Island. Make sure to check the ferry schedule in advance for departure times.
Train and Ferry
Start by walking to the Brockton MBTA train station located at 2000 Main Street. Take the MBTA Commuter Rail on the Middleborough/Lakeville Line toward 'Boston' and get off at 'South Station'. From South Station, follow the signs to the Silver Line Waterfront (bus) terminal. Take the Silver Line SL1 bus toward 'Logan Airport'. Get off at 'World Trade Center' and walk to the nearby ferry terminal. Board the ferry that goes to Gallops Island. Remember to check the ferry schedules for the latest departure times.
Walking and Public Transport
If you are near the Brockton Public Library at 304 Main Street, start your journey by walking to the Brockton MBTA bus terminal. From there, take the Route 14 bus towards 'Brockton - East Bridgewater'. After getting off at the East Bridgewater stop, transfer to the Route 240 bus heading to 'Quincy - Braintree'. Once you arrive at Quincy Center, walk to the ferry terminal and board the ferry to Gallops Island. Always check the bus and ferry schedules for up-to-date information.
