Public Transportation
From downtown Brockton, head to the Brockton MBTA station located at 1 Station Street. Take the MBTA commuter rail on the Middleborough/Lakeville Line towards South Station. Get off at the Salem Station after approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. From Salem Station, head northeast on Washington Street, turn right onto Canal Street, then left onto Chestnut Street. Hamilton Hall is located at 9 Chestnut Street.
Bus
You can take the MBTA bus #7 from the Brockton Bus Terminal (located at 1 Montello Street) to the Ashmont Station. From Ashmont, transfer to the Red Line towards Alewife and ride to the Alewife station. Then, transfer to the commuter rail on the Newburyport/Rockport Line towards Rockport. Get off at the Salem Station. Walk northeast on Washington Street, turn right onto Canal Street, then left onto Chestnut Street to reach Hamilton Hall at 9 Chestnut Street.
Walking
If you are near downtown Brockton, you can walk to the Brockton MBTA station located at 1 Station Street. From there, take the MBTA commuter rail towards Salem. After enjoying the scenic train ride, get off at the Salem Station. Once at the station, you can enjoy a pleasant 15-minute walk northeast along Washington Street, turning right onto Canal Street, and then taking a left onto Chestnut Street to arrive at Hamilton Hall.
