From downtown Brockton, head to the Brockton MBTA Station located at 1 MBTA Blvd, Brockton, MA 02301. Take the Commuter Rail's Middleborough/Lakeville Line towards Boston. Ride until you reach South Station in Boston. At South Station, transfer to the Red Line subway towards Alewife. Ride the Red Line for 7 stops until you reach the Alewife station. From Alewife, transfer to the Alewife Bus 67 towards Alewife. Get off at the Alewife Bus Terminal, then walk to the Alewife subway station and board the Alewife train towards Ashmont. Disembark at the Park Street station, then transfer to the Red Line towards Alewife. Get off at the Harvard Square Station. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Harvard Art Museums located at 32 Quincy St, Cambridge, MA 02138.
Walking
If you find yourself near the Brockton MBTA Station, you can explore the area on foot. Walk east on MBTA Blvd, and then turn left onto Main St. Continue walking straight until you reach the bus terminal. From here, you can take a bus to the Alewife subway station. Alternatively, you can ask locals for directions to the nearest bus stop heading towards Cambridge, and take a bus to the Alewife area, followed by a short subway ride to the Harvard Square station.

Follow the designated bike lanes towards the Charles River, then cross over to Cambridge.
