Getting There
Bus
From Brockton, head to the Brockton Bus Terminal located at 1 Commercial Street. Take the MBTA Bus #14 towards Ashmont Station. Ride for approximately 40 minutes and get off at the 'Forest Hills Station' stop. From there, transfer to the Orange Line subway towards Oak Grove. Ride for about 25 minutes and get off at 'Haymarket' station. Finally, walk about 10 minutes northeast to reach North Square in Boston's North End.
Train
Make your way to Brockton's commuter rail station at 1-31 Main Street. Board the MBTA's commuter rail on the Kingston/Plymouth Line towards Boston's South Station. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at South Station, follow signs to the Red Line subway and board the train towards Alewife. Get off at 'Park Street' station and transfer to the Green Line towards Government Center. From there, you can walk about 15 minutes north to get to North Square in the North End.
Walking
If you are already in central Brockton, you can walk to the Brockton Bus Terminal at 1 Commercial Street and take the bus as described above. Alternatively, if you prefer walking for exercise, you can walk approximately 8 miles to the nearest subway station at Ashmont. Follow Main Street north, then take a left onto Pleasant Street until you reach the Ashmont Station. From there, take the Red Line to Park Street and transfer to the Green Line as described above.
