Public Transit
From Brockton, head to the Brockton MBTA Commuter Rail Station located at 1 Montello St. Take the train on the Middleborough/Lakeville line towards South Station. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at South Station in Boston, follow the signs to the Red Line subway. Take the Red Line towards Alewife and get off at the Park Street station. Transfer to the Green Line and take the train towards Government Center. Get off at the Haymarket station. From Haymarket, you can walk to the North End. Head northeast on Congress St toward Haymarket Square, then turn right onto Hanover St. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront, where you will find the USS Cassin Young at 793 3rd St.

You can also take the BAT bus from Brockton to the Ashland MBTA station. Catch the BAT bus from the downtown area at 1 Montello St. Once at Ashland, transfer to the commuter rail towards South Station. After reaching South Station, follow the directions for public transit to the USS Cassin Young as outlined above.
