Getting There

  • Bus

    From Brockton, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the MBTA Bus #14 towards 'Ashmont Station'. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Dudley Station' stop. Transfer to the Bus #23 towards 'Mattapan Station'. Ride for about 20 minutes until you reach 'Forest Hills Station'. From there, take the Orange Line train towards 'North Station'. After about 30 minutes, get off at the 'Haymarket' station. Exit the station and walk towards the historic 'North End'. Follow signs to the Charlestown Navy Yard, which is about a 15-minute walk from the Haymarket area.

    Start at Brockton MBTA Station and take the Commuter Rail on the Middleborough/Lakeville Line towards 'South Station'. This journey will take about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at South Station, transfer to the Red Line and take the train towards 'Alewife'. Get off at 'Park Street' station and transfer to the Green Line towards 'Government Center'. At 'Government Center', switch to the Blue Line towards 'Bowdoin'. Get off at the 'Aquarium Station'. From there, walk towards the waterfront and take a ferry from Long Wharf to the Charlestown Navy Yard. The ferry ride will take about 15 minutes.

    If you're feeling adventurous and are staying in Brockton's downtown area, you can walk to the nearest bus stop and take the MBTA Bus #14. Get off at 'Dudley Station' and then transfer to Bus #23. After reaching 'Forest Hills Station', take the train as previously mentioned. Alternatively, you can also walk for approximately 30 minutes towards the nearest train station and take the Commuter Rail from there.
