    If you are in downtown Brockton, start at the Brockton MBTA station. Exit the station and head southeast on Main Street towards the intersection with Montello Street. Turn left onto Montello Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Court Street. Turn right onto Court Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Dyer Avenue. Turn left onto Dyer Avenue and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Warren Avenue. Turn right onto Warren Avenue, which will lead you to the Brockton Area Transit Authority (BAT) bus stop. From there, take the BAT bus Route 1 towards Providence. The bus will take you directly to downtown Providence. Once you arrive in Providence, walk to Dorrance Street, where you will find Providence City Hall at 25 Dorrance St.

    From Brockton, head to the Brockton MBTA station. Purchase a ticket for the MBTA train towards South Station in Boston. Once you arrive at South Station, transfer to the MBTA commuter rail, taking the Providence/Stoughton Line towards Providence. After about 40 minutes, you will arrive at the Providence train station. From there, exit the station and head northeast on Washington Street until you reach the intersection with Dorrance Street.
