Car
If you're driving from Hyannis, take Route 28 East towards the town of Barnstable. Continue on Route 28 until you reach the intersection with Route 6. Merge onto Route 6 East and follow it for about 16 miles. Take Exit 63 for Route 37 towards Edgartown. Follow Route 37 and then Route 6A into Edgartown. Once in Edgartown, follow signs to South Beach, which is located on Katama Road. The beach parking lot is at the end of the road.
Public Transportation
To reach South Beach via public transportation, take the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) bus from Hyannis to Edgartown. Check the CCRTA schedule for the latest routes and times. Once you arrive at the Edgartown bus terminal, you can either walk or take a local taxi to South Beach, which is about 2 miles away. If you choose to walk, head south on Main Street, then turn right onto Katama Road, following it until you reach the beach.
