Once you arrive at Woods Hole, you will need to transfer to the Island Queen ferry to Martha's Vineyard. After arriving at Oak Bluffs, catch the Martha's Vineyard Transit Authority bus (the 'Vineyard Haven to Edgartown' route) which will take you directly to Edgartown. From the bus stop in Edgartown, it is a short 0.5-mile walk to South Beach. Just head south on Main Street, turn left onto South Beach Road, and follow it until you reach the beach.

Begin your journey by taking the ferry from New Bedford to Cuttyhunk Island. Once you arrive at Cuttyhunk, you will need to take a ferry to Martha's Vineyard. After reaching Martha's Vineyard, board the bus that connects to Edgartown. Once in Edgartown, follow Main Street south, then turn onto South Beach Road. Continue on this road until you reach South Beach.
