From the bus stop in Edgartown, it is a short 0.5-mile walk to South Beach. Just head south on Main Street, turn left onto South Beach Road, and follow it until you reach the beach.

    Ferry and Bus

    Begin your journey by taking the ferry from New Bedford to Cuttyhunk Island. Once you arrive at Cuttyhunk, you will need to take a ferry to Martha's Vineyard. After reaching Martha's Vineyard, board the bus that connects to Edgartown. Once in Edgartown, follow Main Street south, then turn onto South Beach Road. Continue on this road until you reach South Beach.
