Car
If you're traveling by car, take Route 28 South towards Falmouth. Continue on Route 28 until you reach the intersection with Woods Hole Road. Turn right onto Woods Hole Road and follow it until you reach the end of the road, where it merges into Water Street. The Woods Hole Science Aquarium is located at 166 Water St, Woods Hole, MA 02543. There is free public parking available nearby, but it can fill up quickly during peak tourist season.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) bus service. You can catch the 'Falmouth Line' from various locations in Cape Cod. Make sure to check the CCRTA website for the latest schedule and routes. The bus will take you to the Falmouth area, where you will need to transfer to the 'Woods Hole Shuttle' (also provided by CCRTA). The shuttle will take you directly to Woods Hole. The total fare is typically around $2-$3 per ride, but confirm the current rates on the CCRTA website.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, consider biking to Woods Hole! The Shining Sea Bikeway is a scenic trail that runs from Falmouth to Woods Hole, making it a safe and enjoyable ride. You can start at the Falmouth Bike Path entrance and follow the signs to Woods Hole. The aquarium is located at the end of Water Street. There are bike racks available near the aquarium for parking your bike.
