If you're driving, start by heading to the main highways in Central Massachusetts. From Worcester, take I-290 East towards Boston. Merge onto I-90 East (Massachusetts Turnpike) and continue for about 35 miles. Take exit 20 for I-93 North towards New Hampshire. After about 1.5 miles, take exit 26 for Storrow Drive. Follow the signs for Storrow Drive and continue for about 2 miles. Look for parking along Storrow Drive or in one of the nearby garages. The Charles River Esplanade will be right next to you.

Public Transportation
To reach the Charles River Esplanade by public transportation, start at Worcester's Union Station. Take the MBTA Commuter Rail's Framingham/Worcester Line towards Boston. Get off at South Station. From South Station, transfer to the Red Line (Alewife direction) and travel to Park Street. At Park Street, transfer to the Green Line (C or D branches) and get off at the Arlington stop. Walk along Beacon Street towards Storrow Drive, which will lead you to the Charles River Esplanade, approximately a 15-minute walk.
