Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Worcester, take I-290 E towards I-495 N. Merge onto I-495 N and continue for about 25 miles. Take exit 29 toward MA-2 W. Merge onto MA-2 W and continue for approximately 16 miles. Take exit 36 for MA-126 toward Concord. Follow MA-126 N until you reach the intersection with Walden St. Turn left onto Walden St, and the entrance to Walden Pond State Reservation will be on your left at 915 Walden St, Concord, MA 01742.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Walden Pond State Reservation via public transport, start by taking the MBTA Commuter Rail from Boston's South Station on the Fitchburg Line. Get off at the Concord station. From there, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to the park, which is approximately 2 miles away. Alternatively, you can walk along Main Street to Walden Street, then turn left onto Walden St. The park entrance will be at 915 Walden St.

  From Lowell, take I-495 S for about 15 miles. Merge onto I-95 S and then take exit 29A to merge onto MA-2 W toward Fitchburg. Continue on MA-2 W for approximately 17 miles. Take exit 36 for MA-126 toward Concord. Turn left onto MA-126 N and follow it until you reach Walden St. Turn left onto Walden St, and the entrance will be on your left at 915 Walden St, Concord, MA 01742.
