If you're driving from downtown Gloucester, head northwest on Washington St toward Main St. Continue onto Parker St, then turn left onto MA-127 S. Follow MA-127 S for about 4 miles until you reach the fork. Keep right at the fork to continue on MA-127 S. After approximately 1 mile, turn left onto Gott Ave. Halibut Point State Park will be on your left. There is parking available on-site.

To get to Halibut Point State Park using public transportation, start at the Gloucester MBTA station. Board the MBTA bus #441 towards Rockport. After about 30 minutes, get off at the stop on MA-127 S near Gott Ave. From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles down Gott Ave towards the park entrance. Signs will guide you to the entrance of Halibut Point State Park.
