Get off at the 'Government Center' stop, and then transfer to the Green Line 'C' train at the Government Center station. Take the train towards 'Cleveland Circle' and get off at 'Park Street' station. From Park Street, take the Red Line towards 'Ashmont' and get off at 'Downtown Crossing'. Walk towards Washington Street and follow the signs to Beacon Street. The Boston Athenaeum is located at 10-1/2 Beacon St, just a short walk from the station.
