    From the Gloucester Visitor Center located at 24 Harbor Loop, head south on Harbor Loop towards Western Avenue. Turn left onto Western Avenue and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and walk until you reach the Gloucester MBTA station. Take the train towards Boston. Once you arrive at the North Station in Boston, exit the station and walk towards the Haymarket Station on the Green Line. Board the Green Line towards Government Center and alight at Park Street Station. From Park Street, transfer to the Red Line towards Ashmont and get off at the Downtown Crossing Station. Walk towards Washington Street and continue until you reach the corner of Tremont Street. Finally, walk a short distance to Freedom Trail; Brewer Fountain is located on the Boston Common along this trail.
