From the center of Gloucester, head south on Main Street toward Washington Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 127. Turn right onto Route 127 and follow it until you reach the bus stop for the MBTA bus service. Take the bus heading towards Boston. After approximately 45-60 minutes, you will arrive at Haymarket Station in Boston. From Haymarket, walk south to Washington Street, then turn left and continue until you reach Warrenton Street. Turn right onto Warrenton Street and walk for about 2 minutes until you reach the Charles Playhouse at 74 Warrenton St.
Bus
Start at the Gloucester MBTA bus terminal located on Main Street. Board the bus that heads towards Boston. The journey takes about 45-60 minutes. Get off at the Haymarket Station in Boston. From there, walk south towards Washington Street, turn left on Washington and walk until you reach Warrenton Street. Turn right onto Warrenton Street and walk for about 2 minutes to reach the Charles Playhouse located at 74 Warrenton St.
Combination of Train and Walking
From Gloucester, walk to the Gloucester Train Station located on the corner of Washington and Railroad Avenue. Board the MBTA train heading towards Boston. After approximately 40 minutes, disembark at North Station. Upon exiting the station, walk south on Causeway Street towards the Government Center. Continue straight until you reach Washington Street, then turn left. Walk until you reach Warrenton Street, then turn right. The Charles Playhouse will be on your left at 74 Warrenton St.
