After about an hour, transfer at the Lynn station to the bus route 450 heading towards Newburyport. Get off at the stop for New Castle. From there, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes to reach Fort Stark State Historic Site, located at 211 Wild Rose Ln. Follow Wild Rose Ln until you reach the site.

    If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from a local shop in Gloucester. Start on Main St heading north, then take a left onto Washington St. Continue on Washington St until you reach the bike path that runs parallel to Route 128. Follow the bike path north, then take the exit towards New Castle. Follow local roads until you reach Wild Rose Ln, where you will find Fort Stark State Historic Site.
