If you are in downtown Gloucester, start by heading southeast on Main Street towards the intersection with Washington Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the pedestrian bridge. Cross the bridge, and continue on the path until you reach the train station. From there, take the MBTA commuter rail towards Salem. Once you arrive at Salem Station, exit and head west on Washington Street. Continue straight until you reach Chestnut Street, then turn left. Hamilton Hall will be on your right at 9 Chestnut St.
Public Bus
From downtown Gloucester, walk to the nearest bus stop at the corner of Main and Washington Streets. Board the Cape Ann Transportation Authority (CATA) bus heading towards Salem. The bus will take you along Route 128. Disembark at the Salem Depot stop. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk: head west on Washington Street, turn left onto Chestnut Street, and you will find Hamilton Hall at 9 Chestnut St.
Biking
If you prefer biking, rent a bike at one of the local rental shops in downtown Gloucester. Head southeast on Main Street towards Washington Street, then take the path leading to the waterfront. Follow the scenic route along the coast until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight to catch Route 127. Follow this road until you reach Salem. Once in Salem, navigate towards Chestnut Street, and Hamilton Hall will be on your right at 9 Chestnut St.
