From the center of Gloucester, walk to the nearest bus stop at Main St and Washington St. Take the MBTA bus #67 towards 'Beverly Depot'. Get off at the 'Beverly Depot' stop. From there, transfer to the commuter rail heading towards 'North Station'. Disembark at 'Porter Square' station. Once at Porter Square, exit the station and walk east on Massachusetts Ave towards Quincy St. Continue walking until you reach 32 Quincy St, Cambridge, which is the Harvard Art Museums.

Start at Gloucester's train station, located at 5 Railway Ave. Board the MBTA commuter rail heading towards 'North Station'. After about 30 minutes, get off at 'North Station'. From North Station, walk to the Haymarket subway station. Take the Green Line 'C' train towards 'Riverside'. Change at 'Park St' station and transfer to the Red Line towards 'Alewife'. Get off at 'Harvard' station. Exit the station and walk west on Massachusetts Ave, then turn left onto Quincy St. The Harvard Art Museums will be on your right.

From Gloucester, rent a bicycle from a local bike shop or use a bike-sharing program. Start by heading south on Washington St, then turn onto Route 128 South. Follow the bike lane until you reach the Alewife Greenway. Continue on the Greenway until you reach Alewife Station. From there, head east on Mass Ave, and then turn onto Quincy St. Continue straight until you arrive at 32 Quincy St, Cambridge, the Harvard Art Museums.

If you're up for a long walk, start from the center of Gloucester and head south on Washington St. Follow it for about 2 miles until you reach the MBTA bus terminal in Beverly. Catch the #67 bus towards 'Beverly Depot' and get off at the 'Beverly Depot' stop. Walk to the commuter rail station and take the train to 'Porter Square'. From there, it’s a short walk to 32 Quincy St. Just follow Massachusetts Ave and turn left onto Quincy St. The Harvard Art Museums will be on your right.
