If you are in Gloucester, start by heading towards the Gloucester MBTA train station located at 4 Railroad Ave, Gloucester, MA. Once at the station, take the train towards Boston and get off at the Salem station. From the train station in Salem, exit onto Washington Street and head southeast. Turn left onto New Derby Street and continue walking until you reach Brown Street. Turn right onto Brown Street, and the John Ward House will be on your left at 9 Brown St, Salem, MA 01970.

From Gloucester, you can take the Cape Ann Transportation Authority (CATA) bus route to Salem. Go to the nearest CATA bus stop and board the bus heading to Salem. The ride will take about 30 minutes.
