Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving, start by getting on I-93 N from your current location in Suffolk County. Follow I-93 N for about 2 miles, then take exit 20 for I-90 E toward Logan Airport. Continue on I-90 E for about 1.5 miles until you see signs for South Station. Take exit 24A for Atlantic Ave toward Waterfront. Continue on Atlantic Ave, then turn right onto Summer St. Make a right turn onto Federal St, which will lead you to the aquarium. There is parking available nearby, but it can fill up quickly, so plan to arrive early.

  • Public Transportation

    For public transportation, you can take the MBTA subway. Head to the nearest 'T' station (usually the Red Line). Take the train towards Alewife and get off at Downtown Crossing. Transfer to the Orange Line and take the train towards North Station. Get off at Haymarket Station. From Haymarket, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the New England Aquarium. Exit the station and head south on Tremont St, then turn right onto Congress St. Continue walking straight until you reach the aquarium located at 1 Central Wharf.
