    From the center of Gloucester, head east on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street and continue until you reach the bus stop for the MBTA bus route to Salem. Board the bus heading towards Salem. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the Salem Depot. Once you arrive at the station, head southwest on Washington Street, then turn right onto Essex Street. Continue on Essex Street until you reach the intersection with West Avenue. Turn left onto West Avenue, and you will find Salem Pioneer Village at 98 West Ave on your right.

    From Gloucester, take the MBTA commuter rail from the Gloucester Station towards North Station in Boston. Get off at the Salem Station after about 30-35 minutes. Once you exit the station, you can either walk or catch a local bus. If walking, head southwest on Washington Street, turn right onto Essex Street, then left onto West Avenue. If you choose to take the local bus, wait at the bus stop near the station and board a bus heading towards West Avenue.
