    If you're driving from downtown Rockport, start by heading southwest on Main Street toward Broadway. Continue onto Broadway, then turn left onto Gott Ave. Follow Gott Ave until you reach the entrance of Halibut Point State Park, which will be on your right. There is parking available at the park entrance.

  • Public Transportation

    Take the MBTA commuter rail from Boston to Rockport Station. Once you arrive at Rockport Station, exit the station and walk 0.5 miles south on Railroad Avenue, then turn left onto Main Street. Continue on Main Street for about 0.2 miles, then turn right onto Broadway. After a short distance, take a left onto Gott Ave. Halibut Point State Park will be on your right. Note that walking from the station to the park may take about 15-20 minutes.

    From Gloucester, take Route 127 north toward Rockport. After about 5 miles, you'll enter Rockport. Continue on Route 127 until you see a sign for Gott Ave. Turn right onto Gott Ave, and follow it until you reach Halibut Point State Park, which will be on your left. Ample parking is available on-site.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are coming from Salem, take the MBTA train towards Rockport. Upon arriving at Rockport Station, exit and head south on Railroad Avenue. Turn left onto Main Street, and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach Broadway. Turn left onto Broadway and then turn left onto Gott Ave. Halibut Point State Park will be on your right. The walk from the station to the park will take approximately 20 minutes.
