Getting There

• Walking

  If you're in downtown Gloucester, start at the Gloucester Harbor. Walk towards Main Street and head southwest. Continue on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street, and walk straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the stop for the MBTA Bus #450 towards Boston. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride for about 30 minutes. Get off at the Charlestown stop. From there, walk 0.3 miles southeast on Pleasant Street. The Warren Tavern will be on your right at 2 Pleasant St.

• Public Transportation

  From the Cape Ann Transportation Authority (CATA) bus terminal in downtown Gloucester, take the CATA Bus #14 towards Salem. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop at the Charlestown Navy Yard. Transfer to the MBTA Bus #93 and head toward Haymarket Station. Get off at the Charlestown stop. Walk about 0.3 miles southeast on Pleasant Street, and the Warren Tavern will be on your right at 2 Pleasant St.

• Biking

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in downtown Gloucester. Start at the Gloucester Harbor and head towards Main Street. Cycle down Main Street and then make a right onto Washington Street. Follow Washington Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the MBTA Bus #450 stop. You can bike along the road to Charlestown, which is approximately a 5-mile ride. After reaching Charlestown, continue on Pleasant Street for about 0.3 miles, and you will find the Warren Tavern on your right at 2 Pleasant St.
