To reach City Square Park from downtown Boston, start by heading to the nearest subway station. Take the Orange Line (the subway line with orange color) towards Haymarket Station. Once you arrive at Haymarket, transfer to the Green Line towards Government Center. Get off at the next stop, which is Government Center. From there, walk north on Tremont Street until it intersects with Court Street. Turn left and continue walking until you reach the end of Court Street. You will emerge onto the Freedom Trail; continue walking northwest along the trail for about 15 minutes until you arrive at City Square Park.

Walking
If you're near Faneuil Hall Marketplace, you can easily walk to City Square Park. Start at Faneuil Hall and head southwest towards Washington Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with State Street. Turn left onto State Street and continue until you reach the end of the street, where it meets Congress Street. Turn right onto Congress Street and follow it until it turns into the Freedom Trail. City Square Park will be on your right after about a 15-minute walk.

If you are near the Boston Common, you can take the bus to City Square Park. Head to the nearest bus stop on Charles Street and catch the 47 or 111 bus heading towards Bunker Hill. Get off at the Bunker Hill stop. From there, it’s just a short walk to City Square Park. Head north on Bunker Hill Street, then take a left onto Freedom Trail. Continue until you see the park on your left.
