    Ferry

    Start at the Gloucester Harbor. From there, walk to the Gloucester Ferry Terminal located at 2 Harbor Loop, Gloucester, MA. Follow the signs towards the terminal. Once at the terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Boston. The ferry ride will take you across the water to the Boston area. Once you arrive at the Boston Ferry Terminal, disembark and follow the signs to the nearest subway station.

    Public Transport

    From the Gloucester Ferry Terminal, take a local bus (Cape Ann Transportation Authority) towards the city center. You can take the #11 bus which will take you to the nearest subway station. Once you reach the subway station, purchase a CharlieCard or a ticket for the MBTA subway. Board the subway train towards 'Alewife' station, which is on the Red Line. Get off at 'Park Street' station, and transfer to the Green Line. Take the Green Line train towards 'Heath Street' and get off at 'Copley' station. From Copley, walk towards the Charles River and find the dock for the Boston Harbor Cruises. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Little Brewster Island.

    If you prefer walking, from Gloucester Harbor, make your way to the nearest bus stop and take the #11 bus to the city center. From the city center, you can walk to the Boston Harbor Cruises dock located at 1 Long Wharf, Boston, MA. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Once at Long Wharf, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Little Brewster Island.
