If you are in downtown Gloucester, head east on Main Street towards the waterfront. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street and follow it until you reach the dock area. From there, follow the signs towards the train station and catch the MBTA train to Boston. Once you arrive at the North Station in Boston, exit the station and head towards the Haymarket area. From there, make your way to Tremont Street and walk towards Boston Common. The George Washington Statue is located in the Public Garden, which is adjacent to Boston Common.

From Gloucester, take the MBTA commuter rail from the Gloucester station to North Station in Boston. After arriving in Boston, follow the signs to Haymarket and exit the station. Once outside, proceed to Tremont Street and walk south towards Boston Common. The George Washington Statue is situated in the Public Garden, just off the Common. It should take about 10-15 minutes to walk from North Station to the statue.
