Walking
From downtown Gloucester, head east on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn left on Washington Street and continue walking until you reach the waterfront area. Follow the waterfront path, which leads you toward the train station. Once at the train station, head towards the bus terminal located nearby. Take the MBTA bus heading towards Cambridge, and stay on the bus for approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the Massachusetts Ave & Harvard Bridge stop, which is directly at your destination.
Public Transport - Bus
From the Gloucester Train Station, take the MBTA commuter rail towards North Station. After approximately 40 minutes, transfer at North Station to the Orange Line subway. Ride the Orange Line towards Oak Grove, and get off at Haymarket. From Haymarket, transfer to the Green Line and board a train towards Kenmore. At Kenmore, transfer to the B branch and take it towards Boston College. Get off at the 'Massachusetts Ave & Harvard Bridge' stop, which will place you directly at your desired location.
Bicycle
If you're comfortable biking, rent a bike from a local rental shop. Start at the Gloucester Harbor and follow the scenic coastal bike path along the shore towards the MBTA train station. From there, bike to the nearest bus stop and take the MBTA bus heading towards Cambridge. Enjoy the ride and get off at the Massachusetts Ave & Harvard Bridge stop, as it is right at your destination.
