If you are starting from downtown Gloucester, head east on Main St toward Rogers St. Continue on Main St until you reach the intersection with Washington St. Turn left onto Washington St and continue straight until you reach the intersection with East Main St. Turn right onto East Main St and keep walking until you reach the waterfront. Follow the waterfront path, enjoying the views, until you reach the Gloucester Harbor. From there, you can find signs directing you to the local bus station. Take the MBTA bus towards Boston, which will take you to Alewife Station. Once at Alewife, transfer to the Alewife-bound Alewife train on the Red Line. Get off at the Harvard Station and exit towards Quincy St. Walk a few minutes east on Quincy St until you reach 45 Quincy St, the location of Memorial Hall.

From Gloucester, make your way to the Gloucester MBTA station located at 2 Main St. Purchase a ticket for the train heading towards Boston. Once aboard, enjoy the scenic ride, which takes about 40 minutes. Disembark at North Station in Boston. From North Station, transfer to the Orange Line at Haymarket Station and head towards Oak Grove. Get off at Haymarket and walk to Government Center. Transfer to the Green Line, and head towards Kenmore. Get off at Kenmore station, and then switch to the 47 bus heading towards Alewife. Ride the bus until you reach the Alewife Bus Terminal. From there, take the Alewife-bound train on the Red Line and get off at the Harvard Station. Exit towards Quincy St and walk a few minutes east on Quincy St until you reach 45 Quincy St, Memorial Hall.
