From the center of Lowell, head to the Lowell Connector and follow the signs leading to the commuter rail station at 200 Central Street. Take the MBTA Lowell Line train towards North Station in Boston. After approximately 25 minutes, you will arrive at the North Station. Once you exit the train, walk towards the Haymarket bus station, which is located just a short distance away. Take the 47 bus towards Alewife and get off at the Massachusetts Avenue & Garden Street stop. The Charles Sumner Statue will be directly in front of you.

After about a 20-minute ride, get off at the Gallagher Terminal. From there, transfer to the MBTA bus route 67 towards Alewife.
