If you're driving from Springfield, MA, take I-91 N and then merge onto MA-5 N. Continue on MA-5 N until you reach the intersection with Hadley, then take a left onto Route 9 W. After a short distance, you will see signs for Skinner State Park. Turn onto Skinner State Park Rd and follow it to the park entrance. Parking is available on-site, and there is no fee for parking.

To reach Skinner State Park via public transportation, take the PVTA bus (Pioneer Valley Transit Authority) from downtown Northampton. You can catch the bus at the Northampton Bus Terminal. Use the 39 route towards Hadley. Get off at the 'Skinner State Park' stop. From there, it is a short walk (about 0.5 miles) to the park entrance. Be sure to check the PVTA schedule for the latest times, as service may vary.
