If you're driving, Historic Deerfield is located at 80 Old Main St, Deerfield, MA 01342. From any location in Hampshire County, you can easily reach Deerfield by following major routes. For example, if you're coming from Amherst, take MA-116 N for about 10 miles, then merge onto I-91 N. After approximately 6 miles, take exit 24 for MA-5 S toward Deerfield. Continue on MA-5 S for about 2 miles, then turn left onto Old Main St. Historic Deerfield will be on your right. Parking is available on-site, but be aware that some lots may charge a fee, typically around $5 per day.

If you're using public transportation, first take the PVTA bus service. You can catch the bus from various locations in Hampshire County, including Amherst or Northampton. Look for the bus route that goes towards Greenfield, which will stop in Deerfield. The closest bus stop to Historic Deerfield is the 'Deerfield Center' stop. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the museum. Head west on Old Main St for about 0.7 miles, and you will arrive at Historic Deerfield. Note that bus fares are typically around $1.50 per ride, and check the PVTA website for the latest schedules.
