Getting There

Bus
From the Hyannis Transportation Center, take the CapeCod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) bus service. Board the 'Route 2' bus heading towards Sandwich. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Sandwich Village' stop. From there, walk south on Route 6A for about 0.5 miles until you reach Ed Moffitt Drive. Turn left onto Ed Moffitt Drive, and continue walking for about 0.3 miles until you arrive at the Cape Cod Canal Visitor Center at 60 Ed Moffitt Dr.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Hyannis. Start your journey by heading east on Main Street, then take a left on Sea Street towards the coast. Continue on Sea Street until you reach the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Follow the trail north until you reach Sandwich. When you exit the trail, follow signs for Route 6A. From Route 6A, turn left onto Ed Moffitt Drive and bike for about 0.3 miles until you reach the Cape Cod Canal Visitor Center.

Walking
If you're up for a long walk, start from the Hyannis Harbor area. Walk north along Ocean Street, which will lead you towards Main Street. Continue on Main Street until you reach Route 6A. Turn left onto Route 6A and walk for about 3 miles. Keep an eye out for Ed Moffitt Drive on your right. Once you turn onto Ed Moffitt Drive, walk for about 0.3 miles to reach the Cape Cod Canal Visitor Center.
