Walking
From the center of Hyannis, head towards Main Street. Walk along Main Street until you reach the Hyannis ferry terminal at 220 Ocean Street. Once at the ferry terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Nantucket. Board the ferry and enjoy the scenic ride to Nantucket. Upon arrival at the Nantucket ferry terminal, exit the terminal and head southwest on Broad Street. Continue straight onto India Street. The Nantucket Atheneum will be on your left at 1 India St.

Public Transport
Start at the Hyannis Transportation Center located at 215 Iyannough Rd. From there, take the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority bus towards Barnstable Village. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the Barnstable Village stop. From there, transfer to the ferry service to Nantucket at the nearby Hyannis ferry terminal. After arriving in Nantucket, walk southwest on Broad Street, then continue straight onto India Street until you reach the Nantucket Atheneum at 1 India St.
