Walking
If you are in downtown Lowell, head east on Merrimack Street towards the intersection with Dutton Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Father Morissette Boulevard. Turn left onto Father Morissette Boulevard and follow it north. After about 0.5 miles, you will see a sign for the Battle Rd Trail on your right. Follow the trail signs to access the main path.
Public Transit
From the Lowell Transit Center, take the LRTA bus route 22 towards the 'Merrimack Valley.' Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes until you reach the stop at the intersection of Central Street and the Battle Rd Trail. Once you get off, walk a short distance south on Central Street, and you will find the entrance to the Battle Rd Trail on your left.
Biking
If you have access to a bike, start from the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center. Head south on Dutton Street, then turn right onto Father Morissette Boulevard. Continue along the boulevard for about 1 mile until you see the Battle Rd Trail entrance on your right. The trail is bike-friendly and offers a scenic route.
