    Getting There

    Walking

    If you are starting from the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center, head south on John Street towards Market Street. Turn left onto Market Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Merrimack Street. Turn right onto Merrimack Street, which will lead you to the Lowell Connector. Follow the Connector until you reach the bus terminal. From there, take the MBTA bus #350 towards Boston, which will take you to the South Station in Boston. Once you arrive at South Station, walk towards Atlantic Avenue and take a left. Continue walking straight until you reach Tremont Street. Turn right on Tremont Street and you will find Boston Common at 139 Tremont St.

    Bus

    From the Lowell Train Station, take the MBTA Commuter Rail on the Lowell Line towards Boston. Disembark at North Station. Once at North Station, follow the signs to the Orange Line subway. Take the Orange Line towards Forest Hills and get off at Haymarket Station. Transfer to the Green Line (C or D branch) at Haymarket and head towards Park Street. At Park Street, transfer to the Red Line towards Ashmont and get off at Downtown Crossing. Exit the station and walk towards Tremont Street where you will find Boston Common at 139 Tremont St.

    Train

    From the Lowell Train Station, board the MBTA Commuter Rail on the Lowell Line towards Boston. Travel to North Station. From North Station, walk to the Haymarket subway station and take the Green Line inbound towards Government Center. Get off at Park Street and transfer to the Red Line, heading towards Braintree. Disembark at Downtown Crossing. From there, exit onto Tremont Street, and you will arrive at Boston Common located at 139 Tremont St.
