From downtown Lowell, walk to the nearest bus stop located at 10 Kearney Square. Take the Merrimack Valley Regional Transit Authority (MVTA) bus #1 toward the Downtown Lowell station. Ride the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the North Station Terminal in Boston. From North Station, follow signs to the Haymarket area, then walk about 10 minutes to 100 Hanover St, where the Boston Public Market is located.

Walk to the Lowell MBTA Train Station located at 100 Thorndike St. Purchase a ticket for the commuter rail heading towards Boston (South Station). The trip will take about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at South Station, exit the station and walk towards Atlantic Ave. Take a left onto Summer St, then a right onto High St. Continue straight until you reach 100 Hanover St, where the Boston Public Market is situated, approximately a 15-minute walk from South Station.
