    Public Transportation

    From Lowell, head to the Lowell Connector and take a bus to the Alewife station on the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) Red Line. Once you reach Alewife, transfer to the Alewife Bus 67 towards Forest Hills. Get off at the Franklin Park Zoo stop. The zoo will be a short walk from the bus stop.

    Take the MBTA Commuter Rail from Lowell Station to North Station in Boston. From North Station, walk to Haymarket Station and take the Green Line to Copley Station. From Copley, transfer to Bus 44 towards Dudley Station and get off at the Franklin Park Zoo stop.
