Bus
From the center of Lowell, head to the nearest bus stop and take the MBTA bus route 350 towards Alewife Station. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Alewife Station. From there, transfer to the MBTA bus route 62 towards Lexington. Ride the bus for about 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Hancock St @ Waltham St' stop. From the bus stop, walk south on Hancock St for about 0.2 miles until you reach the Hancock-Clarke House at 36 Hancock St, Lexington, MA 02420.
Bicycle
If you are comfortable cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services in Lowell. Start by heading towards the Merrimack River and follow the riverwalk path until you reach the junction where you can take the Minuteman Bikeway. Follow the bikeway for approximately 10 miles, which will take you directly into Lexington. Once you reach Lexington, follow the signs to Hancock St. The Hancock-Clarke House is located at 36 Hancock St, just a short bike ride off the bikeway.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center. Head south on Dutton St, then turn right onto Merrimack St. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Market St. Turn left onto Market St and walk until you reach the bus terminal. From the bus terminal, catch the MBTA bus route 62 towards Lexington. After about 25 minutes, get off at 'Hancock St @ Waltham St'. Walk south on Hancock St for 0.2 miles to arrive at the Hancock-Clarke House located at 36 Hancock St, Lexington, MA 02420.
